Century-Old Anglican Church Marks Founders' Day With Restored Bell Tower

A century-old Anglican church marked its Founders' Day celebration with the unveiling of a fully restored bell tower, whose bell had gone silent more than twenty years ago after storm damage.
The restoration was funded through a combination of congregation donations and a contribution from a diaspora members' fellowship group.
'When that bell rang again for the first time, people came out of their houses just to listen. It has been that long,' said church warden Ada Green.
