Ogu/Bolo Chairman Hosts British High Commission Political Counsellor

The Executive Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Chief Barr. Vincent Nemieboka, DSSRS, JP, recently received Ms. Greta Morris, Political Counsellor at the British High Commission in Abuja, during a courtesy visit to his residence in the Federal Capital Territory.
The visit provided an opportunity for an extensive exchange of views on issues of national and local importance, with discussions focusing on governance, democratic development, security, education, infrastructure, human capital development, and sustainable economic growth.
During the engagement, Chief Nemieboka shared his perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing Nigeria, while highlighting the critical role of effective leadership and grassroots governance in driving meaningful development.
He emphasised that sustainable national progress depends on visionary leadership, people-centred policies, strategic investment in education and infrastructure, and deliberate efforts to empower citizens through skills development and economic opportunities.
